I recently had a this-time-last-year moment & it’s safe to say, September 2018 was not the right mood. As, Rachael Green describes it “…It’s like there’s rock bottom, then 50 feet of crap, then me.” Yep – I was under the crap. I was unemployed & struggling to find work, scrapping through the one subject I was studying, wasn’t blogging & my personal life was just-kick-you-in-the-crotch, spit-on-your-neck fantastic.
Cut to present day, happy to note I’m currently sitting at about Season three Rachel Green, where my overzealous wardrobe has slowly been transformed to a some-what minimalist mood, where opting for neutral colour palettes & linen fabrics that crease when the wind blows, have all been added to cart.
I personally feel brands are opting for minimalism & for arguments sake, staple pieces. However, cowl halter tops, sheer button up sweaters & matching cashmere bralettes & fishing jackets are flooding the timelines.
The colour palette is quite but the clothes itself are screaming.
